IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari expressed outrage, stating that the hostages were "brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists, a short while before we reached them." The bodies were found in tunnels under the Gaza enclave, a grim testament to the savagery of the militant group's actions.
US President Joe Biden condemned the attack, describing the victims as "innocents brutally attacked while attending a music festival for peace in Israel." He vowed that "Hamas leaders will pay for these crimes" and pledged to work around the clock to secure the release of any remaining hostages.
