Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Zita has taken control of the house after winning the Head of House (HoH) challenge on Monday, replacing Doris who had only secured the title a day earlier. Her victory handed her the authority to make key decisions for the week, including nominating housemates for possible eviction.
As part of her privileges, Zita was also allowed to select a guest for the HoH lounge. She chose Rooboy, a move that stirred conversations among fans. “Congratulations to the woman king herself! It’s only up from here,” one user posted on X in reaction to her win.
Following tradition, Zita was instructed to pick a scroll from the Tree of Trinkets. The scroll gave her the power to save two housemates from facing eviction. She chose to spare Faith and Mensan, ensuring their safety for Week 4. Jason Jae, who had already secured immunity as the most influential housemate of the week, also escaped nomination.
This means every other housemate, except Faith, Mensan, and Jason Jae, will face the public vote. The decision immediately sparked debate among fans, with some questioning Zita’s strategy. “Not even one girl… Chaiii Zita no do well ooo,” wrote Nelly, a viewer reacting to her choice of saving only male housemates.
Meanwhile, Big Brother took the opportunity to remind housemates of the rules governing the competition. He issued stern warnings against plotting nominations or lobbying for protection, stressing that such acts undermine the fairness of the game. Housemates were also warned not to campaign directly for public votes, as the show seeks to maintain transparency and authenticity in the process.
In a major announcement, Big Brother revealed that the prize money for Season 10 has now increased to ₦25 million. The adjustment, he explained, was in recognition of the housemates’ hard work and their ability to keep audiences entertained throughout the season.
With eviction looming, tension is building in the house as fans eagerly await the outcome of the public vote. Week 4 promises heightened drama as housemates battle to secure their place in the race for the grand prize.
