Mercy Eke, the former winner of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), has firmly denied being the woman featured in a widely circulated explicit video online. The video depicts a woman resembling Eke engaging in explicit activities, sparking rumors and controversy across social media platforms.

In response to the allegations, Mercy Eke took to Snapchat to address the situation directly. She categorically stated that the woman in the video is not her, highlighting several physical differences to support her claim. "The video y'all are circulating can never be me," Eke wrote. "I do not wear long nails, no piercings, and I don't wear such socks. That girl does not look like me. Sorry to disappoint y'all evil fantasies. I don't do such nonsense. Not my MO."

Eke's denial comes amidst growing speculation and public interest, exacerbated by the striking resemblance between her and the woman in the video. By pointing out discrepancies such as nail length, presence of piercings, and the type of socks worn, Eke aims to dispel the rumors and protect her reputation.

This is not the first time Mercy Eke has faced controversial rumors. In 2022, a blogger falsely claimed that she was involved in an affair with Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD. These allegations were made alongside claims of domestic violence involving Ogbonna's wife, Bimbo Ogbonna. Eke vehemently denied these accusations, accusing the blogger of attempting to tarnish her image.

Mercy Eke first rose to fame after winning the fourth season of BBNaija in October 2019. Her victory propelled her into the spotlight, leading to a successful career in the entertainment industry. In 2020, she made her acting debut in the film "Fate of Alakada" and later appeared in the Nollywood blockbuster "Shanty Town."
