5 WWE Stars Who Might Lose Momentum After WrestleMania 41

As WWE gears up for WrestleMania 41, some top stars could find themselves losing their current momentum afterward.

This year’s WrestleMania is packed with high-stakes matches featuring major names like John Cena, Cody Rhodes, IYO SKY, and Gunther. Cena will face Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship, while Jey Uso has a chance to win his first World Heavyweight title against Gunther. IYO SKY is set to defend her Women’s World Championship in a triple threat match against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley.

Other exciting non-title matches include Drew McIntyre vs. Damian Priest and a heated grudge match between Naomi and Jade Cargill. But while these matches offer big moments, a few stars may lose their current push depending on the outcomes.

#5 and #4. Erik and Ivar – The War Raiders

The War Raiders, current World Tag Team Champions, will defend their titles against The New Day. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are expected to use sneaky tactics to win. If Erik and Ivar lose, they could slip down the tag team ranks. Their title reign hasn’t been very impactful, and losing at WrestleMania could lead to a creative reset, pushing them out of the spotlight.

#3. Naomi

Naomi will face Jade Cargill in a singles match. This comes after Naomi was revealed as the one who previously attacked Cargill, causing her months of absence. While Naomi gets a high-profile match, it may be used to elevate Cargill’s status. If Cargill wins, Naomi might be pushed down the card or written out of ongoing storylines, especially with rumors of a future feud between Cargill and Bianca Belair.

#2. Jey Uso

Jey Uso is chasing his first World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther. With strong fan support and solid merchandise sales, this could be his moment. But if he fails to win, he might fall back to the mid-card scene. A loss could stop his current momentum and remove him from the main event picture, possibly leading to a run at the Intercontinental Championship instead.

#1. IYO SKY

IYO SKY defends her title against two of WWE’s biggest stars, Belair and Ripley. A win could finally cement her place as a top-tier competitor. However, a loss could end her current push and send her back to the mid-card, where she might chase the Women’s Intercontinental Title or return to the tag division.

WrestleMania 41 could mark turning points—not just for winners, but also for those who lose their spot in the spotlight.
