Bianca Belair has responded to critics following her loss at WrestleMania 41, where she failed to reclaim the Women’s World Championship. The WWE Superstar competed in a Triple Threat match against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley but was pinned after a dramatic finish.
Belair, known as “The EST of WWE,” took to social media after the event to send a powerful message to her doubters. Sharing several photos of herself, she captioned the post: "You will never be Me. Do it like Me. Or do it better than Me. I am the E-S-T."
The match, which took place over the weekend, ended with IYO SKY retaining her title. Despite Belair hitting her signature K.O.D. (Kiss of Death) move on Ripley and seemingly securing the win, SKY managed to capitalize on the moment. She landed her Over the Moonsault on Belair and scored the pinfall to retain the championship.
The result sparked reactions across the wrestling world. WWE veteran and former writer Vince Russo shared his thoughts during a review of WrestleMania 41 on Sportskeeda Wrestling. Russo questioned the decision to keep the championship on IYO SKY, arguing that she had less personality compared to her opponents.
“I don’t care how good a wrestler IYO SKY is,” Russo said. “You’ve got three women in this match, and the one with the least amount of personality comes out the victor. How does that work? You’ve got Rhea Ripley, who’s got a great character, a great look. You’ve got Bianca Belair, great character, great look. The one with the least amount of personality and charisma wins the match. Okay, great!”
Meanwhile, SKY has continued her dominance in the ring. On the Monday Night RAW following WrestleMania, she faced off against NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer. The match, however, ended in a no contest after interference from Roxanne Perez. Vaquer later defeated Perez on NXT to retain her title.
Bianca Belair’s loss may have been a setback, but her bold message suggests she’s far from finished. Fans now await what’s next for the former champion as WWE looks ahead to its post-WrestleMania season.
