Jonathan Majors' Ex-Girlfriend Drops Lawsuit After Reaching Settlement

Jonathan Majors’ ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, has dropped her lawsuit against the actor after reaching a settlement.

Jabbari, a British dancer, filed a lawsuit against the "Creed III" star in March, accusing him of physical and verbal abuse throughout their relationship. She alleged that Majors assaulted her, causing emotional distress, and made defamatory statements about her. The lawsuit came months after Majors was convicted of misdemeanor assault and harassment stemming from an altercation in Manhattan.

On Thursday, lawyers for Majors and Jabbari filed a joint motion in Manhattan federal court to dismiss the case with prejudice, meaning it cannot be refiled. Jabbari’s attorney, Brittany Henderson, confirmed that the case was "favorably settled," but did not provide further details.

Henderson praised Jabbari’s bravery, stating that she had "exhibited tremendous courage" throughout the long and difficult legal process. She expressed hope that Jabbari could now move forward with her life, putting the chapter behind her.

In her original lawsuit, Jabbari accused Majors of striking her on the head, twisting her arm behind her back, and fracturing her finger during a physical altercation. Majors, however, claimed that Jabbari was the aggressor, reacting with jealousy, and that he had only been trying to retrieve his phone and leave the situation safely.

While Majors avoided jail time, he was ordered to complete a yearlong counseling program following his conviction. The case also led to him being dropped from his role as Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Majors had been cast as the primary villain in Marvel’s upcoming films and TV shows.

Majors and Jabbari met in 2021 on the set of "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," where Majors played Kang and Jabbari worked as a movement coach.

Recently, Majors has begun to make a comeback in Hollywood. His film "Magazine Dreams," which had been shelved after his conviction, was recently acquired for theatrical release. Additionally, Majors and actress Meagan Good announced their engagement at the Ebony Power 100 Gala earlier this month.
